All in a Day's Work

What a crazy summer. Busy, busy and more busy... but we love it. Between the normal rush of getting produce to market, the new building (which is coming along nicely) and the summer contracts with the tree farm, I don't know what we'd have done without our farmhands. That's them, Xenia and Inessa picking cucumbers for the Lorette and Steinbach markets this week. Can you believe how much fun they're having?!
By the way, tomorrow is customer appreciation day at the Steinbach Farmers Market. Stop by with the whole family and see what your vendors have to offer on this fun filled day! There will be live music, a wandering clown with a talent for balloon animals and face painting, and of course locally grown produce and homemade preserves.

My family enjoyed your jams. I bought them at the St Norbert's farmers market to try last August. I sent my sister who lives in Las Vegas, Nevada a blueberry jam and her comment on FB was: " So good, berries are whole and not mushy. love it on pancakes too!"
I also loved your jam! Am wondering how I could buy more to enjoy it during my winter studies?? I tried to visit you last Saturday at St Norbert (Sept 22) but was told that you were done selling. Good luck to your business and I wish you well.
Hope to see you again next summer!
