Timber frame is up

By far the biggest thing going on at Redpoll Farms right now is the construction of the new building. It's almost a shame to hide these beautiful timbers from the exterior view. Maybe we should entertain the idea of an open-air market?
The new timber frame, the existing building and a similar extension on the south side will come together to form the new sales office for Redpoll Farms and CD Trees. The original space was split between a seasonal workshop and the sales office. In other words, pretty tight. The new space will be nearly three times the size and accommodate off farm produce sales (maybe as early as this fall... keep your fingers crossed) and tree sales next December.
By the end of the weekend the extension will be built and the SIP roof will be placed early next week. Really exciting to see this building go up.
